As you all know, the only thing that doesn’t change, is that things will change.
Although Radiant is an awesome product for what it does, I believe we have run into too many things that will require us to rework so much of it that it might be easier just to go back to square one.
That being said, I am going to outline the steps I think we must follow to get things rolling and make this a reality. Tsykoduk may disagree with me, but luckily we work closely together on our “day job” and we can toss various items at each other from our desks until we strike a happy medium that we can agree on.

We are also going to continue using Radiant for keeping you all informed until we can get our own act together and we can use Wormhole to serve these news tidbits.

Hope your holiday season is going well.
I just wanted to make a post to let you know we’re still alive and on the case of CMS development.
The Wormhole team (i.e. Tsykoduk) has been off celebrating the holiday, doing goodwill toward others, and all that other joyous stuff.
He tells me that he can’t wait to get back to work so he’ll have time to program. ;)

One of the important aspects to Wormhole is that we want it to be functional as a community site builder. Imparative to achieving this is the ability to have various user/group levels.

One thing we could really use some help on is our graphics. Although we will attempt to dig deep down inside ourselves and release the inner-artist to design a nice looking home site, in the end we will no doubt come to the sad realization that we suck in the graphics department.

We began the project on 18 November 2007. The plan is to design a flexible CMS using Ruby on Rails with a powerful central core.
Since there is no need to “reinvent the wheel” we will be leveraging the best that various other open source projects have to offer and incorporating them into Wormhole where it makes the most sense.
